Almost three years ago when my husband and I had our first child, we decided it would be best for me to stay home with our children. Just like many mamas out there, I STRUGGLED to feel like myself after my children were born. I got lost in the sauce of putting everyone's needs before my own and felt like I was stuck on a hamster wheel.

I decided to pull myself out of the fog and try something new. I have truly enjoyed stepping outside of my comfort zone to learn more about homesteading, slow living, chicken raising, and just becoming more self-sustainable, and want to document my experience along the way!
